Founded in 1983, the Plastar Group emerged as the successor to several major companies operating in Argentina since 1955, with strong regional and global presence based on proven knowledge and technology development. Our family business has grown to meet today’s international quality standards and currently exports to over twenty countries.
Specialists in manufacturing polyethylene co-extruded in plastic film, Plastar has three cutting-edge industrial plants: Plastar Buenos Aires and Plastar San Luis in Argentina and Starplast in Mexico. Total production capacity is over 60.000 tons/year. Our commitment to our people and the community inspires us to seek improvements that enhance quality of life and preserve the natural environment.
